lllllllllllllet's poll! par deux
Hello, dearest darling Dangan Roleplayers! We apologize for the lateness of this but your mods are a wee bit forgetful.
With the first murder creeping up on us, we want to know what times would be convenient for all of you when it comes to investigations/trials! Quick reminder that investigations/trials/executions run on a 2:1 day system for the game and and your hard working mods are in an EST timezone. We will also be sticking to Friday/Saturday for posting days. Sunday is both a day of rest and the return to the normal 1:1 day ratio.
We're offering three options for posting times. Please pick one or, if you have no preference, let us know!
A) Between 12-2 pm EST
B) Between 5-7 pm EST
C) Between 9-11 pm EST

because I don't have to wake up early because MSTbut I'm fine with A too.no subject
C does seem a little late to me, but I'm fine with whatever the majority wants.
A...maaybeprobably?
The reasoning behind this is the fact that- if we're going by the last round- trials usually ran to very late in the middle of the night, EST time: generally capping at around 2:00 A.M. I do remember a trial going to at least 3:00 for me, or very close to it anyway. So that means if a trial didn't get started until 5-7 pm EST, we'd run the chance of going into the wee hours. Of course I'm only going by EST here, I'm unsure exactly what time zones the entire cast is running on.
BASICALLY MY POINT is that I'm cool with investigations starting at just about any time, but in my opinion trials at least need to start as soon as they possibly can since they took and most likely will take a while to get to their conclusion, even with a larger cast this time around.

Like I wasn't here for round 1 but the mock trial went for a long time itself
HMMM...

Like I said though I'm just going by EST, so it all depends on what timezones everyone else is in and how that would affect them as well!

Also, the mock trial went on for ~6 hours which probably is a good indicator of how long they will last, at least in the beginning. As Chi said, we're going to bleed over until Sunday and have people go to bed before the case is over if they start too late.

I also think it's a good idea to take into consideration that things slow down a fuckload as the cast size decreases. I think an early round trial could feasibly be started and completed before Sunday if it started at 5 EST. however, as the living cast decreases, it might be best to move it down to 12 to 2 EST to account for that. Ditto for investigations.
So I'm going to go with an all-around suggestion of B for now, but maybe A when we're at... idk, 20 characters or less.
