You asked for it, we're finally giving it to you! Say hello to the mastermind meme!

What does this mean exactly? It means your character is the one responsible for everything! They've been controlling Monobear from the shadows (or maybe they have an assistant to help them, possibly even one of your classmates!), they've been putting forth the motives, running the trials, all of it! And now they've finally chosen to reveal themselves and their true motives.

What are their motives? Why do they want to spread despair? Are they somehow connected to the late Junko Enoshima? And most importantly what is their snazzy Monobear-themed look like? You decide!

[He chuckles, leaning on the podium and staring up at Juniper with the smile of a snake.]

Don't you know how silly you sound? Oh, I'm going to judge the being that lived millions of years before I was even a thought! Wow, your reputation as judge will be going out the window. You aren't fit to even be up there, your honor.

My reputation will be going nowhere.

[She snaps back at Sam, feeling her face flush with anger. Being a judge was something that she worked so hard for, and now she finally had the opportunity to do so. To rid the world of evil. She definitely isn't going to let someone as horrible as Sam tell her that she's unfit to be a judge.]

Thousands of years does not matter. All that matters are the crimes that you are guilty of, and how justice will be given.

Uhuh. Sure it won't. [He can see her face, know that he's pushing at the right buttons.] You're just a sham, Juniper. Real justice? That abandoned you a long time ago...you're not even doing this judging thing right.

[He laughs.] Just a little girl who thinks she's got what it takes to be a real judge...god, Juniper, I pity you, I really do. You're just a timid spineless little girl who thinks playing pretend will make her more powerful than everyone else. But guess what? You're not fit to be up in that judge's chair.

[Juniper stiffens when Sam says that, her lips tightly pursing together. She doesn't even know how to respond to his words, but her face is growing hotter with every passing second. In all honesty, she doesn't have any idea what she's doing as a judge and that only makes matters worse: the fact that Sam's right.]

I-I am! I've been working hard for this, studying hard so that I could become a judge, and I'm so close to accomplishing that dream.

[Even if she isn't doing it the just way right now.]

I'm going to make the world right one day... and you'll see. Y-You'll see if I'm the spineless, timid girl you say I am when I do!

[He only shakes his head disapprovingly, smirking at the look on her face. Ah, yes, pull a few more strings, he thinks, see what she does...]

Just give up, Juniper. The world doesn't need a judge like you. All this pomp and circumstance...it means nothing, in the long run.

Besides, what would Veronica think? Do you care if she dies or not? You two looked quite close...

[The quip about Veronica is what causes Juniper to freeze altogether, her already pale face growing even paler. After a while, she speaks, but she doesn't even regard Sam as she does so. Her head drops slightly as she idly traces figures on her gavel with her finger. Despite how much she was fronting, it seemed that Sam could break through her feigned tough exterior; she's honestly not surprised. She never did have the will to go through with this.]
