You asked for it, we're finally giving it to you! Say hello to the mastermind meme!

What does this mean exactly? It means your character is the one responsible for everything! They've been controlling Monobear from the shadows (or maybe they have an assistant to help them, possibly even one of your classmates!), they've been putting forth the motives, running the trials, all of it! And now they've finally chosen to reveal themselves and their true motives.

What are their motives? Why do they want to spread despair? Are they somehow connected to the late Junko Enoshima? And most importantly what is their snazzy Monobear-themed look like? You decide!

Threading reactions is highly encouraged and feel free to AU things up to mix up our current survivor pool as much as you'd like.

What's wrong? Restless, my little monster?

[He's not stupid enough to get close, though he leers through the bars, hair curling and uncurling like small tentacles as he talks.]

If you want more people to kill...[His black side grins wide.] I can do that. There are still some of your friends left alive, you know. I'm sure, in your state, you wouldn't care who you're killing. You just want to taste blood.

[The bars... they were like death itself to her. The cage actually set off distant, ghost-like memories in her. Memories of a lab far away, filled with horrifying monsters of its own kind. She was always looking at them from the other side, this was wrong.

Hesitantly, the girl that was not fully Veronica stepped towards Sam before basically flinging herself at the bars.

There was bloodlust and rage in her eyes, and she opened her mouth to let out a strained, choked word.]

Kill!

[notahappyending]

[He steps back as she jumps at the bars, concern flitting over his human features, while his blacker side looks entirely bored.]

Tsk tsk. Oh no, you're not ready for any of that kind of stuff just yet. I mean. I could release you now, and you try to kill me...but where will that end up? I'm invincible, dear Veronica. Your pathetic attempts at ripping me apart will only result in you suffering that fate.

[He shrugs.] But what can I say? You're a failure, Veronica. I can't keep you around forever. Maybe I'll just destroy you, hm?

[She bangs her sword against the bars, she couldn't be more bloodthirsty right now if she tried.]

Blood! Kill!

[She barely hears his insults anymore over the pounding of her heart in her ears. If he wanted to kill her, he might as well.]

Is that all you can say? I really need to focus on higher brain processes the next time around, hmmm...

[He taps his chin, thinking, before letting out a sigh.]

I don't really see the need for keeping you around if you're going to act like this. Veronica, tell me...do you want to live? Or should I snap your neck so I can start all over again?

[Veronica seems... to slow down a bit at his suggestion. Her blade arm lowers and she takes a step back.]

...Y-you...

[She gives him a look that says that she knows exactly who he is. At least that much of her mind is still intact.]

You... monster.

Oh, wow, Veronica, you just realized that? [His left hand is suddenly covered with yellow eyes, all looking at her.] Come on, it would only take an idiot to realize that much.

[A long pause.]..Do you hate me, Veronica?

[She knew long before this that he was a monster. This only made him a monster in the physical sense of the term.

Why not fully cement it, right?]

Hate you... forever... You deserve to die.

[notahappyending]

[His human side looks sad, painfully so - but his abomination side just looks amused as the yellow eyes sink back into his flesh.]

Oh, yes, maybe I do deserve it...but you know what? I have a job to do, and a sweet, dear sister to take care of. I don't think I will be dying anytime soon.

[She just glares at him.
