You asked for it, we're finally giving it to you! Say hello to the mastermind meme!

What does this mean exactly? It means your character is the one responsible for everything! They've been controlling Monobear from the shadows (or maybe they have an assistant to help them, possibly even one of your classmates!), they've been putting forth the motives, running the trials, all of it! And now they've finally chosen to reveal themselves and their true motives.

What are their motives? Why do they want to spread despair? Are they somehow connected to the late Junko Enoshima? And most importantly what is their snazzy Monobear-themed look like? You decide!

Threading reactions is highly encouraged and feel free to AU things up to mix up our current survivor pool as much as you'd like.

[He tilts his head slightly, as if wondering if he's misunderstood Sam, perhaps.]

Really now? What people could possibly be more important than.....your friends?

[In the short pause between words something seems to twitch in his expression, however brief. His smile fades for only a split second before it's back again, brighter and wider than it was before.

He casually steps closer to Sam, folding his left hand behind his back while he gestures with his right.]

Isn't there anything I can do to make you change your mind? After all, I worked so SO very hard to get you here... it would be a shame for you to be leaving so soon.

Oh, I can name one. Pity she isn't here, I'd think you and her would get along really well.

[His smile is thin, his tone restrained - even his eyes are dark now, darker than they've ever been.]

Sorry, Jimmy. I had a time for bargains, and that ended a while ago. The shop is closed. No more services from me. I mean, what do you even have to offer? A sick little grin and some feathers? Can't really see the value from here.

[The more Sam resists, the wider his grin becomes until it's perfectly clear that there's absolutely nothing sane about him.]

Oh....so it's a person you're looking for...?

[He seems to have glossed over every other thing he said except the one- the one thing he said he could name. It's got Jimmy snickering again as he hooks his thumbs in his pockets, slowly stepping around Sam as he speaks.]

Did she die, Sam? ...You know she's probably in Miseryville now, looking for you! All you have to do is come with me, and you can find her again.... It's as easy as that!~ You'd be with her and all of your new friends forever....

Ah, that's where I know you're wrong.

[He stares back, defiant, his grin just as wide, though it's like the grin of a beast that is not to be trifled with.]

She was too good for Miseryville, Jimmy. My kind belong there, yes, but she? She's purer than anything you could ever create.

And frankly, I'd rather undermine Miseryville than let someone like you think you can just bring her back.

Oh Sam. You don't know what I'm capable of. ..I mean, I brought all of you here, didn't I? Even someone as powerful as yourself.

[He raises a brow, as if challenging Sam to prove him wrong.]

[His tone is faintly mocking, like he's indulging and wasting time in talking with a paramecium.]

Getting me here must have been the luckiest day of your life. Sorry to say, that luck has run out, Jimmy.

You've trifled in things you should have never trifled with.

[The boy snickers, tilting his head slightly as he stops pacing around Sam for a moment, reaching over to idly brush a stray feather from his shoulder.]

Oh dear....that isn't a threat, is it Sam?

[He just laughs, shaking his head. Oh, you silly silly little boy. Ivan the Fool, indeed.]

I don't know, Jimmy! You tell me.

Well it sure does sound like one, but I really hope it's not. I'd rather avoid direct violence against my friends if I can possibly help it...

[He looks away from Sam with his arms folded over his chest.]

I'm aware that you're the most powerful entity in this room, Sam. But it's not exactly raw power that I've got on my side, ehehe....

What, are you going to kill me with friendship, Jimmy? Really? Honestly, all I'm hearing is a big chicken just squawking about how his friends mean so much to him, haha...

[Another chuckle.] Face it, Jimmy. Your plan? It won't work. You're just trying to make something happen that will never happen in a million years. What a joke you are...

You know, that's rather big talk for someone in your position!~ Though....if you're so powerful, why didn't you just go right on ahead and kill everyone on this island and just leave? You had every opportunity. I practically gave you guys all the chances in the world you could ever possibly hope for!

[He sighs, shaking his head with a sneer.]

The only way we'll ever find out if my plan is working is to die and find out, don't you agree?~

[Sam probably does something very surprising.]
