WEEK 3 WEEKEND ASSUMED CR/CHARACTER STATUS

What the title says. A few of us noticed that last week, since we jumped straight to Monday from Friday's afterparty, we have a bit of black hole in the weekend as to what's been going on with our characters! I was talking with Alex about getting up a player-run weekend log, but it'd be way too rushed to do that now.

So, for this weekend at least, here's a post where you can hash out with others what your character's been doing before Monday rolls around! Who've they been hanging out with? Has their general mood since Friday improved, stayed the same, or gotten worse? Whose room have they been sleeping in, since sleepovers seem to be a thing? Have they been seen anywhere mostly, like the gym, or the media room? ...Have they been avoiding anywhere, cough ice room.

Haruka's been having trouble sleeping and may seek to horn in on sleepovers. She also went back to the media room to rewatch some of the Monomovies. (The Bearshank Redemption reignited the urge to enact Operation Naked Ladies.) Finally, she started looking around the hotel for things that could possibly be repurposed to help weaponize Duster's hand bra.

So Silver's gonna keep doing his routine shit which at the moment is reading his dad's book, swimming a lot in the pool, and making Weavile a whole lot of eggs. He'll be mostly back to normal by Saturday, although how much of that is an act versus actually feeling back to normal is anyone's guess.

He usually sleeps with Ryoji, but the two of them could always use more company so by all means, come bunk with the teenage duo of dumb dudes. (I think Meridiana was going to join them for at least one night? I can't remember.)

She was going to offer to stick with him Friday night, yeah, but it's more for his sake than for hers, so if he mentions he'll be with Ryoji that could easily dissuade her, too, just as well. :|a

Duster's been avoiding other people for most of the weekend. If anyone asked if they could sleep over, he'd let them in.

Once in a while, he went to the gym to kick the punching bag, then to the karaoke room to listen to the Beetles. Sometimes he hold Harvey's fedora while the music plays.

Kayneth was making attempts to lift in the gym. He... was not very good at it, but at least he tried, gosh darnit. It helps that his right hand seems to be recovering pretty nicely and will probably be okay soon!

He will also probably be doing the Beary Potter marathon. Probably.

Dave's been around in some of his usual spots: either Tucker's or Wash's room at night and the gym in the mornings with his sword. The afternoons, though, he's spending a lot of time in the seating area, drawing. If he's avoiding any room, it's the pool, since that's the last place he talked to Harvey, and he's still not as comfortable with the media room as he used to be.

The quiet but open mood he's been in since the afterparty persists throughout the weekend.

Sometimes, it seems he's literally nowhere to be found. But anyone who knows where the ESHs are kept might notice that Kureha's is missing pretty often, too.

Permission to draw with him sometimes over the weekend. Or at least, be writing on her clipboard while he draws because plans...

Allie's going to be alternating between being around people constantly (but kind of staying away from the gym until Sunday) and taking some time alone in her room. It's not going to be at night like usual, because she's discovered she really likes sleeping with other people in the room. I think one night she was gonna bunk with Tucker, Wash, and Dave? (...With her own mattress, because she's not sharing a bed with boys, that's gross.) Basically she's going to be not-so-subtly asking for sleepovers, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, in her room or yours.

To note up front, if you agree for Sunday night, because of memory regains Monday morning is going to be really rough and will definitely require a very-upset-girl thread. SO, UH.

Also generally she's gonna be pretty deflective if asked how she is. Like "not great, but no one is, sooooo" or something along those lines.

Ulysses isn't going to go looking for sleepovers, but he's also not going to refuse if it's specifically requested of him, if you want him for one of those nights. He'd sleep on the floor and leave her the bed because manners or something.

Tsukiyama has...mostly been avoiding people if he can, though he's pretty easy to find; he generally spends long periods of time holed up in the sewing room just banging out stuff at a completely manic clip because it gives him something to do that basically involves shutting his brain off entirely.

So it's just been a lot of that, pretty much. That and coffee and not wanting to talk much, though he'll be polite if spoken to.

...He's also spending his nights in Ryuunosuke's room, because he hates the quiet at night.

OH OH WE WERE GOING TO DO KNITTING LESSONS DO WE WANT TO HANDWAVE THAT ON THE WEEKEND OR ACTUALLY THREAD IT SOMETIME

Ryuunosuke is going to be keeping to himself Saturday morning, but by lunch time he'll be back to his usual cheery self and he'll be trying to get people to do things with him!! He'll be doing this for both Saturday and Sunday. He wants people to draw, so he'll have plenty of paper and pens. You can probably find him sketching throughout the day as well - he'll be drawing pictures of everyone trapped in murderhotel!! His art style is cartoony, but it's not caricatures or anything, so he'll actually attempt to make everyone look good.... except Wario, but there's no saving Wario. He'll probably end up looking like an angry goblin but you know what, he's fun to draw. If he can convince you to draw with him he'll also insist on hanging the pictures up somewhere so they can be seen. WE'RE GONNA DECORATE THIS PLACE WITH ART OKAY.

If you're not interested in drawing he'll suggest origami or ribbon roses - he can't teach you origami because he can't do it, but he can teach people how to make roses! (Look at what you've done, Tsukiyama.) If you refuse to do any artsy things with him then he'll try to find something else to do! He's going to try to keep everyone's spirits up and he might get to the point where he's annoying, so feel free to assume he's been pestering your character too much!

At night Ryuunosuke's hanging out with Tsukiyama in his own room. He will not be leaving the door open and he won't be inviting anyone else to stay. Sorry guys, awful people only.

So Wash has been having issues sleeping since he arrived but after this last trial they're going to be a bit worse. He pretty much has to completely exhaust himself before he can even try to sleep so he'll be spending a lot of time at the pool and avoiding the gym entirely for Curry reasons except to move the dart board to the karaoke room.

All weekend he'll be bunking at night with Tucker and Dave in either his own room or Tucker's and at least one night Allie is crashing with them. He's cool with whoever doesn't want to sleep alone joining in too. He's also going to be scheming with Dave and Tucker to throw a surprise birthday party for Allie on Monday because good god they all need a little happiness and Blue Team throws rad birthday parties.

Mentally he's hanging in there and come Monday he'll remember some important canon things that will keep him somewhat distracted all week trying to piece together his own timeline.

Maya's going to be busy planning something for Thursday with Isabelle this weekend, and is open to letting people stay with her. She might ask to hang out with other people, too, because being alone so much is starting to get to her. She's used to being a sidekick, okay.

Other than that, on Monday, she might seem in a daze; she'll be really confused by what she remembers, and the answers won't come until next trial.

But yeah, she could use some help-- and if no one volunteers to keep her company she might end up staying awake far too long with all her planning, which is cool too. Yay insomnia!

Besides spending her time this weekend still trying to get people to open up or checking on people not leaving their rooms, she's planning with Maya on a 'Super-Secret-Party Mission', shhh! It's super secret...

Besides that, she might stay in people's rooms who have their doors open because she doesn't like feeling alone right now, but only if that person isn't mad at her or anything. And come Monday... she actually feels a little sad because of another memory, but a happy sadness oddly enough.

Okay so I am the latest to the party but Meridiana is proooooooobably going to be difficult to find this weekend outside of plans already made checking in on people and whatnot — she'll be spending a fair amount of time to herself, sleeping in late, and just kind of taking it easy because this one was unusually hard on her and so she's trying to take care of herself before the shitshow starts up again.

She will also be AGGRESSIVELY KNITTING so if we have CR and you want knitted shit come talk to me.

Tucker is going to be latching onto everyone who will let him (some as literally as possible) this weekend because he Does Not want to be alone so fuck a lot of that. He'll be leaving his door open at night when he's in there because he's never actually going to be alone so he's hoping this won't actually be a stupid-ass decision that ends up getting him killed, so anyone is welcome to come in if they want to join the cuddle pile.

Most of his efforts will be going toward getting Wash to actually sleep, so anyone he can recruit to lay on top of the massive sleepless nerd will get a fist bump.

...Also he's going to be recruiting Wash and Dave to help him throw Allie a Blue Team Party on Monday.

His Sunday night memory is going to be illuminating with an unpleasant ending (ALL of season 11, for those who know what that means), just as a warning before you volunteer to be there for that. It won't be a total shitshow, but...

well he's going to be pissed if he wakes up after Wash leaves for breakfast.

Although he'll still make an effort to be cheerful, Ryoji will be notably melancholy throughout the weekend. It'll be the worst, obviously, on Friday, but his mood will slowly pick up again throughout the weekend and he'll seem more like himself by Sunday. Generally speaking, he will be (or will at least appear to be) much more cheerful when he's with others and listless when he's on his own. He'll be making an effort to be with people as much as he can, though, so if there are group things happening he will totally be there!! Because, haha. Hahahaha. BEING ALONE IS THE WORST...

During the evenings, before the night time announcements, he'll be in the lounge working on his crochet project. Since he... just started to learn how to crochet, he's really not the best person to explain it, although he would direct people in the direction of Meridiana. Go to her!! She'll teach you how to make things with yarn, it's the best!

He'll also be spending the night every evening with Silver, as per usual. Anyone who joins in their sleepovers is free to notice that Ryoji is always the last one to fall asleep, but the first one to wake up in the morning. He's also never super proactive about eating, although he'll always join people for a meal if they offer it to him.

... and then, on Monday, thanks to getting some memories back, he's going to be thrown right back into his weird mood. Although this one will be less melancholy and more... distant and disconnected. He's going to do his best to throw himself into exploring and trying out the stuff on the new floor, because when left to his own devices he's just going to be really out of it. Hooray! (Not hooray.)
